Pierre-Félix Burrolet - Geologist at the CFP

Born in 1925.

In 1953 he was at the FCP and participated in exploration missions in the Sahara. In 1970, he was in the New Projects and Exploration Control Department at the FCP. Head of the basin and subsidiary connections office in Total's exploration department - which is a key position in the organization of the Group's exploration - in 1973. Director of the in-depth geology department in Total CFP's exploration department (in 1980 ).

In 1975, he received the Jules-Gosselet Prize, awarded every four years by the Société géologique de FrancePays FranceShow more alternately to an academician and a practitioner.

He left several works in particular on the geology of Tunisia, and also Reflections on global tectonics in 1974 or La Vérité germera de la Terre in 1986. Scientific advisor of the International Center for Geosciences Training and Exchanges (CIFEG).

Died on July 13, 2017.
