Louis Felix Tronchère - Managing Director of the Compagnie Française de Raffinage
Born April 12, 1875 in Alleyras (Haute Loire). Ecole Polytechnique (1896), Artillery. After a job at the PLM Workshops of Arles, joined in 1905 as engineer-director, the Chemin de Fer Sfax - Gafsa of the Compagnie des Phosphates and the Chemin de Fer de Gafsa (Tunisia). Returning to FrancePays FranceShow more in 1923, he participated in the liquidation of the company "Pétroles Premiers". He was recruited by Ernest Mercier in November 1923 as Director of the French Union of Petroleum Studies and then in March 1924 as Director of the Compagnie Française des Pétroles. When the Compagnie Française de Raffinage was created in March 1929, he became its Managing Director and remained so until his death in December 1935.
Ernest Mercier will express at the opening of the Board of Directors on December 4, 1935, returning from the funeral "the painful impression on which he remains because of the disappearance of his first collaborator, the one who experienced the difficult days of the beginning, and who , by his energy, managed to overcome all obstacles ”.
Victor de Metz, recruited in 1928 and seconded to the Steaua Romana was then recalled to the headquarters of the PSC.
