Emmanuel Lamy - Director of the PSC and Petrofina, Deputy CEO of Petrofina

Born December 20, 1911 in Paris. École Bossuet (Paris), Faculty of Letters and Law of Paris, graduate of the École libre des sciences politiques. Inspector of Finance in 1936. After starting his career at the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Washington and a position in the finance administration in Morocco, he joined the Banque de l'Union Parisienne in 1955; he became President from 1963 to 1967, then CEO until 1974.
In 1960 he was appointed Deputy CEO of Petrofina, of which he was a director. At the same time, he became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Compagnie Financière de Suez. He was a director of CFP from 1962 to 1980, of Petrofina, Petrofina CanadaPays CanadaShow more, but also of Campenon Bernard and Péchiney Ugine Kuhlmann, of which his great-grandfather was founder and his father was vice-president, and whose chemical and mining assets joined the Total group. He died on December 21, 2008.
