Founded on February the 25th, 1920, the Belgian Oil Financial Company - future PetroFina - joined forces in May of the same year with the Pure Oil of Delaware to create the distribution company Purfina. Kerosene, packaged at the depot in Antwerp and sold in bottles in grocery stores, constitutes an important part of the Purfina market.
